Rose City Veterinary Hospital has an in house laboratory so we can perform our own tests for certain diseases and genetic conditions and get the information for our clients as quickly as possible.

Outside Reference Laboratory
If specific testing is requested and in-house testing is not an option, Rose City Veterinary Hospital uses outside reference laboratories across the United States. Routine screening and histopathology are typically sent to our local lab. Specialized testing such as thyroid, mycoplasma and gastrointestinal absorption are sent to out of state laboratories. A Rose City Veterinary Hospital team member can give you an estimated time frame for results once the testing has been submitted.
